Health and Social-Emotional Learning Curriculums
Health and Social-Emotional learning are both curriculums offered to the students at Willapa Elementary. Sample curriculums are linked below. For any questions, please contact the elementary school.
In the spring of each school year, our school nurse meets with fifth grade students to provide a puberty class. Separate classes are provided for boys and girls. Parents are notified and sent a permission slip for their student prior to the class. Parents are also given the option to preview the material that will be taught. The links below have the presenter information and student booklet for each class.
Mrs. Languell, school counselor, is scheduled to be at the elementary building two days a week. During that time, she will cover the social emotional learning topics linked below during her weekly classroom instructional SEL lessons.
